Instructions

The course project is to write a research paper about one of the developmental theorists introduced in the course. You may choose from the following list: Erik Erikson, Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky, or Urie Brofenbrenner.

The course project is due at the end of the term on the course ending date.

Your research paper should be at least 5 double-spaced pages in length (not counting the title page and reference page).

You are required to use at least five scholarly sources (must be peer-reviewed journal articles, academic books, and academic websites).

In your paper, you must cover:

The historical time and setting in which the theorist lived

The main tenets of the theory

The criticisms of the theory

The impact of the theory on the field of developmental psychology

The paper format, in-text citations, and reference page must be in APA 7th edition style.
