When considering possible issues/problems for this project, be encouraged to prefer those areas that mean the most to you or that you feel are critical to the pathways of social psychology.

The purpose of this project is to develop advocacy skills that can be useful now and in the future, as professionals. Writing and speaking are the primary ways we influence people, which in turn, can influence policy and create the change we want to see in the world. You are to create a presentation that reveals the social problem/issue of your choice related to stereotypes, prejudice, discrimination, attitudes, and conformity. In addition to the course text, please find and incorporate at least two (2) outside scholarly sources to support your investigation of this social problem/issue.

  2. Description of the problem/issue
  3. Its impact on society and/or local communities
  4. Roots of the problem/issue
  5. Student perspective/opinion of the problem/issue
  6. Current Policies surrounding the issue
  7. Possible solutions/revisions that could combat the issue
  8. An ending slide called References which lists your minimum of 3 sources in APA format (citefast.com can help) At minimum, you should have the 8 slides above.
