Journal Identification for Manuscript Rubric
Directions:
Select one of the following options for your manuscript:
Option 1-Manuscript related to your DNP project.
Option 2-Manuscript that is related to the topic of your DNP project. For example, a review of the literature related to your DNP topic that includes recommendations for best practices. This option is provided because some journals may be reluctant to publish a manuscript related to your DNP project if you have a fairly small number of participants.
Identify a journal for your manuscript, and obtain a copy of the journal author guidelines.
Compile information in a Word document as described in the Criteria and Grading Rubric shown below. Please Note: Faculty will use Track Changes to make comments on your word document.
If you are not familiar with track changes, here is a helpful website:

Note: Your faculty advisor will work with you on developing and revising your manuscript and need to be listed as second author.
