PSYC210 Life Review Interview

PSYC210 Life Review Interview

The purpose of this assignment is to examine the life experience of a person in middle or late adulthood and to compare contrast his or her life experience in adulthood with the developmental characteristics described in our testbook (physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual)

Instructions

  1. Select a person in middle or late adulthood (50 years of age or older). A parent, grandparent, or older friend usually makes a good interviewee. Be sure to tell the person that you are doing this for a class assignment. When you write your pager, you may change the interviewee’s real name
  2. Prepare a list of questions that addresses a developmental issue or milestone within each domain (physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual).
  3. Conduct the interview. Take careful notes or request permission to record the interview.
  4. Write your paper using a unique original title. This paper should read like a biographical narrative not a list of questions and answers.
